The resolution, penned by Associate Prosecutor Mary Jane Sytat, cited “lack of probable cause” in dismissing Gutierrez’s libel complaint against editor-in-chief Jo-Ann Maglipon, managing editor Karen Pagsolingan and writer Ferdinand “Bong” Godinez.

Richard Gutierrez filed his complaint against PEP last April 13 at the Makati Prosecutor’s Office then later, transferred to the DOJ.

He filed the complaint for an article posted on PEP on March 29 saying that Richard had an alleged altercation with Michael Flores at the birthday party of Zorro director Mark Reyes at Oceana Restaurant on March 28, 2009.
